SHAME: 13 Year Old – Queens Native, Kevin Miller Shot In Head
QUEENS, N.Y. (WPIX) – Police were on the hunt Saturday for suspects in the deadly shooting of a 13-year-old boy on his way home from school.
Kevin Miller took a shot to the head Friday, and died a short time later at a local hospital. Also hit during the same shooting, was a 17-year-old bystander. He’s was shot in the thigh, and is listed in stable condition.
Eyewitnesses told police a fight broke out around 3:15 p.m. between a group of school kids, and that’s when the bullets started flying. They were in front of a car wash at the corner of Springfield and Linden Boulevards in Cambria Heights.
Police are trying to determine if Miller was in the wrong place, at the wrong time — or, if he was a target.
